We experimented with three essential oils that complement the lime, Licor 43, and gin beautifully:

• Immortelle Essential Oil: Offers a complex, slightly sweet, and herbaceous aroma that adds a unique floral undertone.
• Sage Essential Oil: Provides an earthy, slightly peppery, and aromatic note that grounds the sweetness of the liqueur.
• Basil Essential Oil: Introduces a fresh, slightly sweet, and peppery herbaceousness that enhances the lime’s brightness.

The “Not Forgotten” Cocktail Recipe:

Ingredients:

• Ice cubes
• 1 shot glass (approximately 1.5 oz) freshly squeezed lime juice
• 1 shot glass (approximately 1.5 oz) Licor 43
• 1 shot glass (approximately 1.5 oz) Gin
• 1 to 2 squirts of your chosen essential oil (Immortelle, Sage, or Basil from Dr. Hermann’s Essentials)

Instructions:
