Instructions:

1. Cold-Brewed Hibiscus Tea:

2. Simple Sugar Syrup:

  • Combine 120 g (4.23 oz) of granulated sugar and 120 mL (4.06 oz) of purified water in a saucepan.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  • Continue boiling until the solution becomes clear.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.

3. Cocktail Preparation:

  • Fill a glass with 3-4 ice cubes.
  • Add 1 shot glass (approx. 1.5 oz) of cold-brewed hibiscus tea.
  • Add ½ shot glass (approx. 0.75 oz) of simple sugar syrup.
  • Add 1 squirt of lavender essential oil in extra virgin olive oil.
  • Add 1 shot glass (approx. 1.5 oz) of vodka or rum.
  • Carefully pour 1 shot glass (approx. 1.5 oz) of tangerine juice over the back of a spoon to layer it on top of the hibiscus brew (if desired).
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Garnish with a lemon wheel or a lavender twig, if desired.
  • Cheers!

Tips and Notes:

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup to taste.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the vodka or rum.
